Well, it’ll go out this week I feel certain, if you would accept it, 'cause it's -ĬALLER: Completely. All I need - we’ll not get it on the air - is your address so we can send it out to you sometime. RUSH: We have a bunch of other stuff that we could throw in there too. You know, for your daughter we have a cute little doll of Liberty, the horse. I'd love to put a package of stuff together. We've got a package of stuff from Rush Revere land we send to readers, kids your age. It's something that is very near and dear, but that’s quite a compliment. I guess that's because it's a personal passion. It's interesting that they would comment on the voice, that it's better than other audiobooks. RUSH: How old are they? How old are your kids that like this?ĬALLER: My daughter is 10 and my son is eight. I've been pleased with that, as well, that they're into it. They've been very interested and, you know, really interested in the history behind it, too. I'm so happy to hear that they like the audiobooks.ĬALLER: They do. (laughing)ĬALLER: (laughing) He recognized your voice and he thought I was secretly listening to the Rush Revere books without them.

It's so much more interesting than any other audio books we listen to.” (chuckles) So one day I was in the kitchen making lunch, while they were off playing with their friends and I was listening to you, you know, during the day just to your radio show and my son came in for lunch, and he goes, "Mom, why are you listening to our book without us?" He was really mad. My daughter has said several times, “Oh, I love just his voice. We've been doing audiobooks.ĬALLER: They really enjoy your voice. So I've been listening with my kids - they are 10 and eight - to your books. I'm glad you're here.ĬALLER: Well, I was calling today to just tell you a funny story.
